Students can find many ways to get involved in sustainability on the Hill or in the University Apartments, from program participation to leadership.
Team Green on the Hill
Team Green allows students to engage in education and leadership opportunities in sustainability on the residential Hill.
Team Green is a student resident education and leadership program focused on sustainability. One representative from each residence hall acts as a green ambassador in one of two main student positions: Team Green Coordinators and Team Green Members.
The Coordinators participate in co-curricular education programs that are offered bi-weekly. Based on these education programs as a framework, Coordinators educate and provide support to the Team Green Members at monthly meetings.
Team Green Members attend meetings and monitor sustainability operations on their floors. Both Coordinators and Team Green Members coordinate and participate in quarterly hall and Hill-wide sustainability programs such as the all-hall energy competition.

Sustainable Living – Theme Community
The Office of Residential Life offers theme communities, where students with similar interests can live together and participate in specially designed programs that cater to their academic and social interests. Each theme is partnered by an academic department and Faculty member. The Sustainable Living floor provides an opportunity for students interested in sustainable living and environmental advocacy.
