Have you heard about the food-waste program that LA Sanitation & Environment (LASAN) just rolled out to households they serve?
Join the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Sustainability Alliance to learn about the new food-waste program, and then for a conversation with Councilmember Katy Yaroslavsky.
James Roska, acting environmental engineer with LASAN, and Daniel Meyers, manager of the commercial franchise (RecycLA) division, will join to discuss. You can learn more about the program here.

Newly-elected Councilmember Katy Young Yaroslavsky was recently appointed as chair of the Energy and Environment Committee as well as vice chair of the Olympics committee. In addition, she is a member of the Budget, Finance, and Innovation Committee, the Planning and Land Use Management Committee, and the Transportation Committee.
