Indigenous people worldwide are among the first to face the direct consequences of climate change due to their dependence upon and close relationship with the environment and its resources. Indigenous leadership is critical to addressing environmental justice and understanding their role in advancing renewable energy solutions in their traditional homelands. This webinar will bring together leaders to discuss how locally sourced and controlled renewable energy can allow Indigenous people from around the world to take control of their energy resources, keep local dollars in the community, and reap the long-term environmental and economic benefits of their investment.
