The Net Zero Conference, Energy + Water + Waste, is the nation’s largest event dedicated to net zero building design. Attendee registration has nearly doubled in each of its first three years, thereby showing the building industry’s increasing interest in a net zero future. Verdical Group, the conference organizer, is projecting the host venue to be at capacity again with 600 attendees for the fourth annual event in August 2017.
The conference will include a full program of net zero case study presentations from nationally leading AEC firms, two panels, an exhibitor table expo, and high quality networking opportunities. The conference draws a wide array of high level decision makers and will also provide five Continuing Education Units for AIA, USGBC, and LFA professional credential holders.
The conference will be held at IBEW’s Net Zero Plus facility in Commerce, CA. This is a living laboratory complete with a massive solar array and microgrid. The facility produces more energy than it uses annually – making it one of the few net positive energy structures in California. Tours of the facility will also be given at the conference – more information will be announced closer to event day.
