Sponsored by the UCLA Environmental Justice Initiative, this event explores the intersection between race, class, gender, and environmental issues using creative expression.

The event will feature contributions from students and artists at the crossroads of environmental activism and scholarship in order to share a broader understanding of the ways environmental burdens and benefits are differently experienced, and to expand our vision of mutually constructed equitable solutions for a better world.

Visual Exhibit featuring photography created by UCLA students, and mixed media and videography solicited from and submitted by the community groups including East Yard Communities for Environmental Justice, NRDC, EcoJustice, and MDG7.

5:00-6:00pm 
Live performance and spoken word poetry by community artists/activists Lewis MacAdams, David Buuck, Jane Sprague, and UCLA students Nerve Macaspac, Tira Helen Okamoto, Cristina Echeverria, and the Geography EJ collective.
