Basic Needs and Technology Services Manager, Community Programs Office (CPO)
Chidera Izuchukwu is the Basic Needs and Technology Services Manager at the UCLA Community Programs Office. She transferred from Santa Monica College to earn a degree in African American Studies from UCLA. She oversees the Food Closet, an open pantry that provides donated produce, canned food, hygiene products, and etc. for all students. To supplement the efforts of the food closet, she oversees the food box giveaways, that gives students a box full of food to sustain themselves and their families during the holidays and campus closures; and the grocery bundle program, where students are given a week’s worth of groceries.
