UCLA Housing & Hospitality Services is currently involved in many sustainability initiatives and has plans to embark upon many more in the near future. UCLA H&HS recognizes that focusing on sustainability programs, which profoundly influence behaviors and supports sustainable lifestyles, may have the greatest positive impact for our environment.
Our Sustainability Mission: UCLA Housing & Hospitality Services will meet or exceed UC and UCLA policies on sustainability while demonstrating through action that sustainable practices are a critical component of our quality services, products, and programs.

- Rendezvous’ Eco-to-Go Reusable Container Pilot Program has begun! Learn more here.
- More than 350 lb. of leftover food from the New Student Welcome were donated to the Los Angeles Mission.
- The August 2013 herb garden harvest yielded several pounds of English rosemary, thyme, Greek oregano, lemongrass, cilantro, and curly parsley—all of which will be incorporated into summer and fall menu items!
