EARTH MONTH: Healthy Campus Symposium: Integrative Strategies for Living Well

2015 HCI Symposium:  Integrative Strategies for Living Well on Thursday, April 30, 2015 in Covel Commons from 4:00pm – 9:00pm.
 
UCLA students, faculty, staff and community leaders will gather to celebrate the HCI accomplishments and successes towards creating the healthiest campus in the country.  Jane and Terry Semel will also be honored for their vision and support of the HCI, and we will be featuring over 25 student projects in a poster session.  The symposium program will include special guests Sam Kass (former White House chef); Bill Yosses (former White House executive pastry chef); Jonathan Fielding (former director of the LA County Department of Health); Barbara Oakley (author of “Evil Gene”); Emeran Mayer (director, UCLA Gail and Gerald Oppenheimer Family Center for Neurobiology of Stress); D’Artagnan Scorza (founder and executive director of Social Justice Learning Institute).   The symposium will conclude with a reception, and a delicious and healthful dinner featuring a BruinPlate menu.
